You will be the first program and product hire into the Business Intelligence & Information Systems department, bringing structure and momentum as it scales. Initially, you'll focus on execution support: tracking and coordinating active technology initiatives, maintaining visibility of status and risks to department leadership, owning project artifacts (timelines, vendor tracking, meeting notes), and coordinating cross-functional touchpoints across the organization. You'll run recurring project cadences and prepare materials for department and leadership updates, while maintaining department documentation and supporting IT service management administration.
As the department's roadmap matures, the role evolves toward product ownership: gathering requirements from business stakeholders, translating them into prioritized roadmap items, and owning specific product areas end to end from requirements through delivery. You'll partner with engineering resources and outsourced technology partners to scope and sequence work using product management practices, contribute to multi-year roadmap development, and translate it into executable quarterly plans. As the team grows, there is a clear path toward leading other team members and taking on direct reports.
