Plaid is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional technical initiatives that drive the company's engineering platform forward. You will partner across Engineering, Infrastructure, Data, Security, ML, Legal, and Product to deliver company-wide programs that improve reliability, scalability, and developer productivity. In this role, you will own high-impact technical programs from planning through execution. You'll work on initiatives such as strengthening Plaid's data and machine learning platforms, modernizing infrastructure, and improving data governance. Your responsibilities include managing end-to-end program execution by coordinating plans, milestones, dependencies, and stakeholder communication across multiple teams. You'll align engineering, product, data, legal, privacy, and business stakeholders on priorities, scope, and success metrics. Key responsibilities include leading complex cross-functional technical programs; driving end-to-end execution with clear planning and risk management; partnering with multiple teams to align on priorities; enabling adoption of standardized processes for data governance and platform modernization; removing execution blockers and monitoring progress; fostering collaboration across organizations; communicating progress to technical and executive leadership; and continuously improving execution frameworks. You should have 6+ years of experience leading complex technical programs with a strong understanding of software architecture and engineering systems. Experience driving cross-functional programs involving multiple engineering teams is essential. You'll need excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, comfort operating in ambiguous fast-moving environments, and ideally experience with data platforms, infrastructure, ML platforms, or developer productivity. Prior experience in fintech or regulated environments is a strong plus. Plaid powers millions of people's financial lives by connecting them to the apps and services they use.
