Fuse Energy is a well-funded energy startup ($200M+ raised from top-tier investors including Balderton, Accel, Lowerstar, and others) building an integrated energy company that combines solar, batteries, grid infrastructure, AI, and distributed energy solutions. The company operates a direct-to-consumer model to reduce costs and pass savings to customers.
You will own the master expansion timeline end-to-end as Technical Program Manager. This is a high-visibility operations role where you'll map every workstream and dependency, build and maintain the plan of record (Gantt charts, roadmaps, critical path analysis), and ensure the entire business executes against a shared timeline.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the master expansion timeline from mapping to delivery tracking
- Building and maintaining Gantt charts, roadmaps, and critical-path documentation that the business operates from
- Sitting across engineering, operations, and business functions to sequence priorities and dependencies
- Surfacing risks and slippage early, driving tradeoff conversations to keep expansion on track
- Translating fast-moving, ambiguous expansion plans into clear, shared timelines with defined owners and dates
- Running the cadence of updates, checkpoints, and escalations to keep every workstream accountable
You'll work directly with engineers, operators, and business leaders, translating between technical and business teams without losing precision. This role requires relentless focus on keeping plans honest and the ability to re-sequence priorities as new information emerges.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from a top university in STEM, engineering, or related quantitative field
- Proven experience as a technical program manager or program/project lead on complex, multi-workstream programs with hard deadlines
- Fluency with timeline and project-planning tools; genuine enthusiasm for building and defending Gantt charts
- Comfort working directly with engineers and operators, translating between technical and business teams
- Relentless approach to keeping plans honest and comfortable re-sequencing priorities as circumstances change
