Albedo is building the infrastructure to make Very Low Earth Orbit (VLEO) mainstream, developing satellite buses, integrated satellites, and turnkey missions for customers operating between 250–400 km altitude. As a Technical Program Manager, you will own end-to-end execution of hardware programs and projects, measured against company goals and committed delivery dates. You will build and maintain integrated schedules spanning all engineering disciplines—GNC, flight software, ground software, communications, systems, electronics, optical, mechanical, thermal, and production. Unlike high-level milestone tracking, you will work at build-schedule depth: AI&T flow, production sequencing, resource loading, test-stand contention, and long-lead procurement. You will be in the details with the teams doing the work, partnering with team leads and systems engineering to translate technical plans into realistic durations and holding the line when estimates are optimistic. Key responsibilities include finding schedule slips before they are announced, running replans, quantifying options, and presenting decisions to leadership. You will own the execution cadence, keeping Linear accurate as the system of record with health, status, and dependencies leadership can trust. You will also build the program-management practice—cadence, reporting, escalation, and schedule standards—that scales as the company adds programs and headcount. Where applicable, you will represent programs to external customers and partners while keeping internal delivery ownership as the primary focus. You bring 8+ years in program or engineering management for hardware programs, with at least one role where you owned the detailed build or AI&T schedule. You have demonstrated task-level schedule ownership with resource-loaded plans, negotiated durations, and a critical path you can explain. You have multi-disciplinary integration experience running schedules spanning mechanical, electrical, software, and test. You have hardware production or integration and test exposure—you have been on the floor or adjacent to it while something was being built. A BS in EE, CE, Aero, or ME (or demonstrated equivalent technical fluency) is required. CAPM/PMP is a plus. Albedo is one of the first 100 employees, operating with a first-principles approach, moving with speed, taking calculated risks, and learning quickly. The company uses AI regularly to create leverage across disciplines and works in-person at the Broomfield HQ to maximize team and company productivity.
