Cohere, a leading enterprise AI company, is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to join its customer-facing Engineering Program Management team. This role bridges Cohere's technical organization with strategic enterprise customers, serving as the technical voice for the company in customer engagements.
You will own end-to-end program management for enterprise AI delivery, working across Applied ML Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, Platform, Product, and Go-to-Market teams. Key responsibilities include: communicating clearly across technical and business stakeholders; breaking down complex technical issues into executable strategies; creating and managing program schedules with dependency tracking and risk management; ensuring on-time delivery of enterprise-grade AI solutions; and proactively identifying and resolving cross-functional blockers.
The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of Engineering or Technical Program Management experience, with a minimum of 2 years in customer-facing technical delivery focused on enterprise AI software. Experience with LLM training or optimization is a strong differentiator. You are detail-oriented, self-organized, execution-focused, and comfortable holding teams accountable while remaining diplomatic. You thrive in ambiguity, work independently across multiple time zones, and excel at capturing technical requirements and tracking progress through complex initiatives.
