Sardine is a fintech platform specializing in fraud prevention, compliance, and risk infrastructure. The company serves leading organizations including FIS, GoDaddy, Intuit, Edward Jones, ZoomInfo, and Checkout.com with an integrated solution that unifies data across risk teams to stop fraud in real time, prevent AI-driven attacks, and automate fraud and AML operations. In this role, you will own the Sonar product roadmap as it scales from an industry data utility to critical AI infrastructure for agentic commerce. Sonar is a governed data-sharing network that enables institutions and their AI agents to collaborate on financial crime detection and investigation. Key responsibilities include: - Own the Sonar roadmap and build infrastructure layers across collaboration (secure, governed channels for institutions), identity and trust (verified, scoped, auditable access), investigation (governed intelligence connecting related entities), and distribution (making Sonar available across institutional workflows). - Write and maintain technical specifications, integration playbooks, and documentation for member and partner integrations. - Translate regulatory constraints (314(b), GLBA, FCRA, BSA) into product requirements, including purpose limitation, data handling, and audit trails. Work directly with Legal on implementation. - Partner with Engineering on data and platform architecture to enable Sonar's scale. - Collaborate with fraud, AML, and investigations teams at member institutions to understand analyst workflows and needs. - Define and track success metrics: member adoption, inquiry volume and response rates, time to answer, and quality of agent usage. - Work with Business Development, Sales, and Partnerships to onboard new institutions and platform partners. This is a high-autonomy role for a technically fluent PM. You are comfortable with API design and the infrastructure behind AI agents, and you can work with counsel on what a regulated data-sharing network is allowed to do. The company operates a remote-first culture across US time zones with occasional travel to meet members and the team. Compensation includes generous cash and equity, early exercise for all options, flexible paid time off, health/dental/vision coverage, 401k matching, home office stipend, meal stipend, social meet-up stipend, health and wellness stipend, and annual learning stipend. REQUIREMENTS: - 6+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years in payment networks, fintech, financial crime, identity, or data platform products - Experience shipping APIs or developer-facing products, with fluency in authentication, scoped credentials, and audit logging - Hands-on experience with AI agents and the infrastructure that supports them - Working knowledge of financial crime, including fraud, AML, and investigation workflows - Experience building within regulatory constraints on data use; familiarity with 314(b), GLBA, or FCRA is ideal - Strong analytical skills and comfort querying data to inform decisions - Clear written specs and ability to communicate with engineers, lawyers, and bank executives BONUS: - Experience with consortium, data cooperative, or information-sharing products - Background in entity resolution or graph-based investigation - Prior time at a bank, payments network, or compliance technology vendor
