Cosuno is a fast-growing construction tech startup building a digital platform for tenders and procurement. They use AI to help construction companies create precise bids and streamline their processes.
You will own integrations end-to-end as Technical Product Manager for Integrations & Connectors. Your mission is to make Cosuno the central hub where construction companies' tender workflows converge—pulling data in from their existing tools automatically and pushing results back out seamlessly.
In your first weeks, you'll immerse yourself in customer conversations with construction companies to understand what's needed for the REST API and connectors to become part of their daily work. You'll partner closely with Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales to translate those insights into a clear roadmap and establish tracking for integration usage.
Within your first few months, you'll launch API improvements and Cosuno's first MCP (Model Context Protocol) server, enabling customers to analyze data and operate Cosuno directly from AI assistants like Claude and Gemini. You'll shape the design, write engineering tickets, and roll out pilots.
Once real usage data and pilot feedback arrive, you'll make clear recommendations on next priorities and decide the path forward with the CTO and Head of Product. By the end of year one, integrations will be the norm for your customers, and you'll have driven that transformation.
You'll work with full ownership from first customer conversation to shipped feature. Engineering handles implementation; you handle discovery, prioritization, and rollout. You'll travel across Germany to meet customers on-site, though most engagement is remote. You'll read API docs, test endpoints yourself, and discuss data models with engineers—technical depth without writing production code.
The role is based in Berlin (Kreuzberg office) with the option to work fully remotely from anywhere in Germany and flexible hours.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience shaping APIs from the product side: defining endpoints, data models, auth, permissions for public APIs or SaaS integrations
- Technical depth: comfortable discussing webhooks vs. polling, pagination, rate limits, OAuth; able to test APIs yourself
- Strong customer discovery skills: ability to separate what customers ask for from what they truly need and identify adoption barriers
- Excellent at writing clear engineering tickets with defined scope, acceptance criteria, and out-of-scope boundaries; prioritize by impact
- Fast execution: ship in weeks, not quarters; build, learn, and iterate in parallel
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts simply to both construction company project managers and internal stakeholders
- Daily use of LLM assistants and MCPs; experience building personal automations
- Fluent in both German and English (required for customer-facing work with German construction companies and English-speaking engineering team)
- Based in Germany and willing to travel to customers across the country
- Bonus: experience building MCP servers for customer use, or knowledge of construction tech, ERP, or estimating systems (RIB iTWO, SAP, Nevaris)
