Knowtex is a frontier AI lab for healthcare building AI systems to execute complex medical workflows and empower clinicians with clinical intelligence. You'll join as the second Technical Product Manager, owning product releases and metrics end-to-end across the Knowtex application—spanning clinical intelligence, web and mobile apps, backend, product analytics, and product marketing. This role requires hands-on technical depth, not process management. You'll read code, scope APIs with engineers, prototype workflows using Claude Code or Cursor, and ship release notes and launch plans the same day. You'll build the analytics foundation to understand adoption and usage, turning clinician feedback from site visits into prioritized shipped work. You report to the CTO and work alongside one other TPM on a two-person product team, partnering closely with Engineering, Customer Delivery and Implementation, and leadership. The scope is outsized with direct founder access, and the product is already in the hands of tens of thousands of clinicians across hundreds of VA sites plus a growing commercial base. Key responsibilities: **Roadmap Ownership & Delivery (35%):** Own the roadmap and execution across clinical intelligence, web/mobile (iOS/Android), and backend. Write clear specs engineers build from directly. Run standups, triage tickets, keep priorities sharp. Review builds and QA releases before they reach clinicians. **Product Metrics & Analytics (25%):** Define and instrument product metrics from the ground up—event taxonomy, tracking, dashboards. Stand up adoption and usage reporting in Amplitude. Track and report core KPIs (adoption, active usage, note completion, retention) and use them to drive roadmap decisions. Write SQL and dig into data yourself. **Prototyping & Discovery (15%):** Use AI coding and design tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Figma, Claude Design) daily to prototype ideas quickly before committing engineering time. Gather clinician feedback through site visits and user research. Bring working prototypes to product discussions. **Product Marketing & Enablement (20%):** Partner on launches—launch plans, positioning, go-to-market timing. Write release notes and customer-facing product updates. Build sales and customer enablement materials. Contribute to case studies and impact content. **Cross-Functional Partnership (5%):** Work with Customer Delivery, Implementation, and leadership to keep clinician experience and product builds tightly connected. Communicate product decisions clearly in writing. Occasional customer site visits for product feedback and UX research (a few times a year). In-office 3 days a week. **Requirements:** - 3+ years as a PM or TPM shipping B2B SaaS, ideally including a mobile app (iOS/Android) in production - Shipped things end-to-end and can own outcomes; breadth across a product, not a single feature area - Can read code, scope APIs and integrations, work directly with engineers without translation - Comfortable discussing architecture and data flows; can write specs engineers build from directly - Daily, hands-on use of AI coding and design tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Figma, Claude Design) to prototype quickly - Hands-on product analytics experience: defining event taxonomies, building dashboards in Amplitude (or Mixpanel/Heap), writing SQL - Owned metrics and can name specific ones you moved; reach for data unprompted when making decisions - Excellent writer—specs, release notes, and customer-facing product updates are core to this role - Clear and concise communication with engineers, clinicians, customers, and leadership - High ownership; thrive with ambiguity and own outcomes without needing detailed direction - Energized by a fast-moving ~25-person startup rather than a large PM org with heavy structure - Curious about clinicians and healthcare workflows; motivated by reducing clinician burnout - Track record of picking up work beyond job description **Strongly Preferred:** - Healthcare or health tech experience (EHR integrations, clinical workflows, HIPAA) - Product marketing experience: launch plans, positioning, sales enablement, case studies - Exposure to regulated or federal environments (FedRAMP, VA, Section 508/WCAG) - Experience running user research or UX studies with clinicians or other professional end users - Coding background or CS degree **Work Authorization:** Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; unable to sponsor visas for this role.
