The Exploration Company is building innovative aerospace technologies for space transportation. As a Technical Owner for Fluid Components, you will own the complete technical lifecycle of assigned fluidic-control equipment for the Nyx Earth program, including technical baseline definition, supplier development, qualification, delivery readiness, integration support, and operational feedback.
You will be responsible for maintaining the technical baseline across all aspects: requirements, interfaces, verification methods, qualification logic, acceptance criteria, and review data. This includes managing system-level views of fluidic, mechanical, thermal, electrical, command, cleanliness, materials-compatibility, safety, operations, and integration interfaces.
Key responsibilities include following supplier development and qualification paths for valves, regulators, fill/drain equipment, pressure-control equipment, and related fluidic components. You will review supplier deliverables including drawings, analyses, procedures, inspection evidence, test results, and non-conformance inputs. You will identify and surface leakage, response, cleanliness, compatibility, lifetime, production repeatability, and evidence gaps early.
You will support MAIT/AIT preparation, integration testing, acceptance evidence generation, flight-operations preparation, and flight-data review for assigned equipment. You will work cross-functionally with propulsion system engineering, equipment owners, program management, procurement, quality, supplier quality, test, manufacturing & production, safety, operations, and external suppliers and manufacturing partners.
Ideal candidates have strong aerospace, mechanical, propulsion, or fluids engineering backgrounds with practical experience on spacecraft propulsion fluidic components. You should understand requirements, verification, cleanliness, materials compatibility, leakage, actuation, testing, qualification, manufacturing support, and failure modes. Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders are essential. Fluency in English is required; French and/or German are valuable assets.
