Salary: USD 141,219 - 209,161 / annual
Parts Town, a fast-growing distributor of restaurant equipment, HVAC, and residential appliance parts, is seeking a Technical Manager for Engineering to lead both front-end and back-end engineering teams. This is a dynamic leadership role focused on fostering a high-performing culture of quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop front-end and back-end engineering teams, attracting and retaining top talent while promoting continuous learning and effective performance management
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align engineering execution with business strategy and define/deliver on key OKRs
- Identify strategic opportunities in front-end and back-end domains, influence stakeholder support, and stay ahead of emerging technology trends
- Manage engineering budgets efficiently and build strong vendor partnerships to support team needs
- Lead cross-functional engineering initiatives ensuring technical excellence, collaborate on technical requirements, and prioritize efforts
- Embody and promote core organizational values: Integrity, Community, Passion, Courage, Innovation, and Safety
- Measure and improve team efficiency and processes
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- 1-3 years in a leadership or management role
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Relevant industry certifications or specialized training in front-end/back-end technologies
- Proven experience building and leading high-performing engineering teams
- Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to influence and navigate organizational dynamics
- Quality, high-speed internet connection at home (hybrid role)
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary range: $141,218.77–$209,161.18 annually (based on qualifications, experience, and location).
