Anduril Industries is seeking an experienced Technical Field Operations Engineer to support the deployment and integration of advanced imaging systems for defense applications. You will serve as a subject matter expert on Anduril's imaging product family, working directly with the Department of Defense to ensure customers can fully leverage integrated hardware-software solutions.
In this customer-facing role, you will be responsible for deploying systems globally, providing technical training and documentation, and troubleshooting complex hardware-software-networking issues in the field. You'll work cross-functionally with imaging operations leads, technical teams, and engineering leadership to address customer needs, develop operational concepts of employment, and drive product refinement recommendations back to engineering.
Key responsibilities include: serving as primary technical contact for DoD customers; supporting delivery of contract deliverables such as training manuals and pre-deployment site surveys; tackling complex integration challenges across hardware, software, and networking in unstructured field environments; managing end-to-end system setup, configuration, and troubleshooting; authoring technical documentation and user training materials; configuring networking environments including firewalls, routers, and cloud infrastructure; and coordinating cross-functional projects to unblock and accelerate program delivery.
You must be both a teacher and a student—coaching teammates on systems you've mastered while continuously learning new platforms. You'll guide users through product employment, advise account managers on operational structuring, and communicate technical recommendations to engineering teams.
Required: 5+ years of problem-solving in unstructured environments at the intersection of hardware, software, and networking; strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills; Linux command-line experience; ability to translate technical concepts into operational requirements; project management and product deployment experience; excellent communication skills; and willingness to travel extensively.
