Salary: USD 250,000 - 365,000 / annual
Anthropic is seeking a Technical Architect to help customers and partners adopt Claude Code and related AI tools at scale. This is a hands-on role blending engineering expertise with technical education and customer enablement.
You will teach engineering organizations how to deploy Claude Code, Claude Tag (Claude Code as an agent in Slack), and enterprise admin controls. Your work spans multiple formats: leading public webinars for thousands of engineers, conducting multi-day customer onsites built around their codebases, hosting office hours, and running train-the-trainer programs to certify customer technologists. You'll empower enterprise admins on technical rollout requirements including single sign-on, permissions, connectors, spend controls, and data-handling policy.
You'll also build rapidly using Claude—turning requests into polished decks, demo repositories, or plugins within a day. You'll explore new features as they ship and pick up teammates' material to deliver seamlessly. Critically, you'll bring field signal back to product teams, providing specific customer feedback that informs Claude Code, Claude Tag, and related product development.
You'll partner closely with account executives, customer success managers, Applied AI Architects, support engineers, and partner leads. Expect 30–50% travel in bursts around onsites, workshops, and events. The team is growing quickly; scope will expand as new products ship, and early joiners will shape how the function evolves.

**Requirements:**
- 5+ years as a software engineer, solutions architect, developer advocate, or similar role
- Current engineering range: you've shipped code others depend on, can go deep with senior engineers across the stack, and use Claude Code or similar agentic tools daily with informed opinions
- Big-stage presence: experience holding large live audiences, delivering material with minimal prep time, and handling broken demos gracefully
- Ability to range in conversation from casual banter to rigorous design discussion, both feeling natural
- Care for people: you support struggling customers and ensure confused rooms leave with clarity
- Initiative: you build without waiting for permission and speak up when ideas are half-formed, including your manager's
- Steadiness when priorities shift, timelines compress, and colleagues are under pressure
- Comfort with ambiguity in a fast-moving industry and product suite
- Stake in safe AI: you care that large organizations deploy AI responsibly
- Love of frontier work: you want to work at the edge of what's possible and help define what comes next
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience in a field relevant to the role
**Strong candidates may also have:**
- Depth in enterprise identity and security (SAML, OIDC, SCIM, SOC 2, HIPAA)
- Experience running Claude on Amazon Bedrock or Google Cloud Vertex AI
- Background in regulated industries or with systems-integrator partners
- Public record of technical teaching (talks, courses, videos, writing)
- An outside interest you can discuss with equal energy
