VAST Data is seeking a Technical Account Manager to join its Customer Success team. As a member of the "Flight Crew," you will serve as the primary point of contact for post-sales customer engagement, working alongside Sales Engineers and Support Engineers to ensure customer success and satisfaction.
In this role, you will act as the quarterback for assigned customer accounts, managing all post-sales activities and serving as the trusted advisor for customers. You will be responsible for planning and executing smooth customer installations, upgrades, and expansions, working collaboratively with Sales, Professional Services, and external partners as needed.
Key responsibilities include: building and maintaining trusted customer relationships through technical excellence and deep product knowledge; responding quickly to technical support issues and coordinating solutions across teams; managing customer installations, upgrades, break-fix activities, and account expansions; leading weekly, monthly, and quarterly customer review meetings; understanding and advocating for customer use cases and requirements; submitting and managing feature requests and bug reports with product and engineering teams; identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and ensuring full product adoption; keeping account teams informed of status and activities; and leading a pod of Customer Success team members to prioritize customer needs.
You will be conversant in VAST Data's product offerings and responsible for ensuring installations and upgrades are well-planned, executed smoothly, and include documented lessons learned. You will work with engineering to advocate for customer-requested features and bugs, and partner with account teams to drive adoption of new functionality.
