Altana is an AI-powered platform that serves as a network for trusted trade, helping governments and businesses build a more resilient and secure global economy. We are seeking a Technical Account Analyst to support our Technical Account Managers (TAMs) in delivering exceptional outcomes for our Logistics customers.
In this role, you will be the operational backbone supporting TAMs across our largest logistics service provider accounts. You will manage specific workstreams and deliverables rather than owning end-to-end account relationships, allowing you to develop deep expertise in customer operations and data analysis while learning from experienced account leaders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting TAMs by managing specific workstreams and deliverables across multiple logistics accounts
- Executing onboarding tasks for new users, including scheduling trainings and tracking adoption milestones
- Conducting analysis on customer usage data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for TAMs
- Preparing materials for customer calls and Quarterly Business Reviews, including data pulls and talking points
- Coordinating with product and implementation engineering teams to track deliverables and flag blockers
- Owning day-to-day account tasks (check-ins, follow-ups, documentation) for a subset of accounts under TAM guidance
- Capturing and organizing customer feedback, routing it appropriately to TAMs or product teams
- Developing deep knowledge of Altana's platform and product capabilities to support customer-facing conversations alongside TAMs
This is positioned as an entry point into account management and customer success, with clear growth potential into a Technical Account Manager role over time. You will work in a collaborative environment, learning from senior team members while building core skills in customer operations, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
The role is currently based in Brooklyn, NY, with a planned office relocation to Midtown Manhattan in Summer 2027. Candidates must be within commuting distance of both current and future office locations.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in account management, customer success, operations, or a related analytical role (logistics industry exposure is a plus but not required)
- Detail-oriented and organized, comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines across several accounts simultaneously
- Strong communicator who can synthesize data into clear, digestible takeaways for both TAMs and customers
- Eager to learn the fundamentals of data fusion and machine learning, with ability to grow into communicating product value to technical and commercial audiences
- Proactive collaborator who seeks feedback and takes direction well from senior team members
- Good judgment, strong work ethic, and willingness to dig into details to get things right
- Excited to grow into a Technical Account Manager role over time
