As Tech Lead, Software Engineering, you will manage a team of 5-7 software engineers (junior through senior) and play a central role in the Product and Software Engineering organization. The role is a player-coach position where you'll spend approximately 50% of your time writing code and 50% leading your team and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization. Key responsibilities include: Tactical execution: Serve as Scrum Master for your team's Agile development framework. Collaborate with leadership, product, finance, marketing, DevSecOps, and external customers to define and prioritize work items. Participate directly in software development to achieve sprint goals. Ensure code quality and validate feature requests with product management. Guide team onboarding, coordinate training, conduct 1-on-1s, and manage annual reviews. Strategic leadership: Build a high-performing engineering team that executes efficiently in delivering quality software. Establish relationships with other team leaders to ensure accurate work prioritization. Partner with product management to define and execute product vision. Help define systems architecture and contribute to product roadmap decisions. The tech stack includes React, Redux, Material UI, .NET Core, SQL Server, Azure, and AWS.
