Payoneer is seeking a Tech Lead to lead the Cards engineering team in India. In this role, you will own the technical vision, architecture, and design for the Cards domain while remaining hands-on with code. You'll set the engineering bar, drive architectural decisions, and guide engineers through complex problem-solving.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and driving the technical vision, architecture, and design for the Cards domain
- Writing, reviewing, and setting the quality bar for production code
- Leading technical design discussions, RFC processes, and cross-team architectural decisions
- Mentoring and upskilling engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance
- Collaborating with product and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions
- Identifying and addressing technical debt and performance bottlenecks
- Contributing to hiring and team growth initiatives
You'll work within Payoneer's global fintech platform, which serves over 2,500 colleagues and customers in 190+ countries. The company focuses on removing friction from cross-border business, offering global payments, compliance, multi-currency management, workforce solutions, and business intelligence tools.
