We seek a Tech Lead to join our engineering team and lead development for a product squad. You'll be responsible for architecting solutions, mentoring experienced engineers, and driving technical excellence across our Python-based backend services.
In your first month, you'll complete a structured onboarding: meet your team, set up your local environment, familiarize yourself with our Python stack, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. You'll learn our architecture and observability tools while contributing small improvements and getting your first code to production.
By month three, you'll be delivering at full speed: designing and implementing end-to-end features, participating in architectural discussions, working with event-driven systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and collaborating with Product, Data, and other Engineering teams on platform enhancements.
By month six, you'll be fully established as a key contributor: owning core components, leading through code reviews and design sessions, mentoring teammates, driving best practices in scalability and system design, and becoming a domain expert who uses business context and technical excellence to advance strategic initiatives.
You must have strong knowledge of good practices, testing, and design patterns; relational databases and data-intensive systems; distributed systems, network communication, scalability, and resilience. You understand the full development-to-production delivery cycle, embrace full ownership, are proficient in business English, and can deliver phenomenal engineering solutions. Experience with Django/Flask, PostgreSQL, Redis, and event streaming platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus.
