Pelico is a manufacturing orchestration platform that uses AI to connect fragmented supply chain, production, and quality data for industrial operations. The company serves major clients including Airbus, Boeing, and Safran, and has raised $72M from General Catalyst, 83North, and Serena. Founded in 2019, Pelico is growing at 300% YoY and operates across 15+ countries with offices in Paris, Miami, London, and Amsterdam.
In this role, you'll own end-to-end data onboarding and transformation for enterprise customers, turning fragmented ERP and operational data into structured, usable inputs for Pelico's platform. You'll work directly with customers to understand their systems, data models, and operational constraints, then translate those into scalable data solutions. Key responsibilities include designing and building robust data pipelines and transformation logic for complex manufacturing use cases, acting as a bridge between engineering, product, and customer teams, debugging and resolving data quality and integration issues in live production environments, and continuously improving internal tools and processes to make deployments faster and more scalable. You'll also contribute to shaping Pelico's data architecture and best practices as the company scales globally, and apply AI-assisted tooling to accelerate development and troubleshooting.
This is a customer-facing technical delivery role, not a back-office data function. You'll solve messy, real-world data problems and ensure the platform delivers measurable value in live production environments.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4–7 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or technical delivery roles, ideally in customer-facing environments
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling, with experience working with large, messy, real-world datasets
- Experience building or maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and working with cloud data environments
- Comfortable working directly with customers; ability to explain technical concepts clearly and navigate ambiguous, unstructured problems
- Strong problem-solving mindset; you drive issues to resolution, not just identify them
- Ability to operate in fast-moving environments where structure is evolving and priorities shift
- Active embrace of AI tools as part of your workflow; curiosity about what's possible and quick adoption of new ways of working
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted workflows (writing, research, analysis, coding, productivity) and genuine interest in staying at the frontier of these tools
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) or manufacturing/supply chain data
- Background in industrial, manufacturing, or logistics environments
- Experience in a startup or high-growth environment
- Exposure to Python or other scripting languages
