Intelizen is seeking an experienced Siemens Teamcenter Data Migration Specialist to lead and execute complex PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) data migration initiatives for enterprise clients. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with project leadership, requiring deep knowledge of Teamcenter data structures, migration tools, and legacy-to-Teamcenter conversion strategies.
Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end Teamcenter data migration projects from planning through extraction, mapping, transformation, validation, and load phases. You will analyze legacy PLM/PDM systems and design comprehensive migration strategies to Teamcenter, working with migration toolkits such as Migration Toolkit (MTK), ITK, and BMIDE. The role involves significant CAD data integration work across platforms including Creo, NX, CATIA, and SolidWorks.
You'll collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and QA teams to ensure data integrity and completeness throughout migration cycles. Troubleshooting migration errors, performing data reconciliation, and validating migrated data against source systems are core daily activities. Additional responsibilities include documenting migration processes, mapping rules, and lessons learned, as well as supporting cutover planning and post-migration stabilization.
Required qualifications include 8+ years of hands-on Siemens Teamcenter experience with dedicated data migration expertise. Strong knowledge of Teamcenter data models, BMIDE, ITK/SOA, and migration utilities (MTK, TcXML) is essential. You must have experience with CAD integration and metadata mapping across multiple platforms, plus proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Java for migration automation. Database tool experience with Oracle or SQL Server for data extraction and validation is required.
Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with Teamcenter Active Workspace, prior work on large-scale enterprise PLM migration programs in aerospace, automotive, or industrial sectors, and relevant Siemens Teamcenter certifications. The role offers competitive compensation ($120–$160K), performance-linked incentives, and the opportunity to work with marquee global clients on transformative PLM and engineering programs.
