OneTrust is seeking a Team Lead for Software Engineering in Bengaluru to lead a small group of engineers while remaining hands-on. This is a first-step leadership role for a strong senior engineer transitioning into people management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day technical guidance and coaching to a small team of engineers
- Support the team manager with performance check-ins and development conversations
- Help the team break down, plan, and deliver on sprint commitments
- Remain hands-on, contributing code and design work on critical initiatives
- Partner with Product and UX to clarify requirements and surface technical considerations early
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Experience informally guiding or mentoring other engineers
- Strong technical foundation in frontend and/or backend development relevant to OneTrust's platform
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Devin, Windsurf, or similar) and ability to help others adopt them
