As Team Lead in Vehicle Report Quality Assurance, you will manage a team responsible for ensuring vehicle reports, auctions, and data processes meet the standards expected by customers and partners. You will work hybrid from the Berlin Schöneberg office (3 days on-site, 2 days remote, plus 10 days work-from-anywhere annually).
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure team achieves KPIs around accuracy, efficiency, and timelines
- Review team deliverables (reports, data maintenance, auction adjustments) for quality and compliance with standards
- Provide day-to-day team leadership and technical guidance on complex or critical tasks during high-volume periods
- Take ownership of process breakdowns, identify root causes, implement solutions, and develop new processes as needed
- Contribute to projects and drive continuous process improvement within the OKR framework
- Create work schedules, prioritize tasks, and maintain structured workflows
- Communicate regularly with the team, sharing updates, best practices, and feedback
Requirements:
- Experience in disciplinary team leadership, or a clear, credible understanding of how to lead a team
- Ability to motivate, develop, and set clear goals for team members
- High ownership mentality: first point of contact for your team, but also think cross-functionally; proactively identify and solve process issues
- Strong independence and reliability in process management
- Experience in quality assurance, ideally in vehicles or auctions
- Confident communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient with office applications and quick to learn new systems
- German language skills at C1 level (written and spoken); English B1 minimum
Preferred:
- Completed apprenticeship or professional experience in automotive (e.g., mechanic, mechatronics technician, automotive trade), or strong personal interest in vehicles and willingness to develop expertise in vehicle assessment and quality inspection
