Anduril Industries is seeking a Mission Analyst to serve as the tactical-level interface between Anduril's autonomous maritime systems and military operators and planners. This is a field-based role requiring regular travel to customer sites, exercises, and operations—not a desk job.
You will be embedded in the customer environment, speaking their language and ensuring effective employment of Anduril's capabilities. You'll work alongside operators, participate in deployed exercises, deliver training, support mission planning, and feed operational reality back into engineering teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting development of mission plans for exercises, demonstrations, operational test and evaluation, and operational employment
- Providing tactical advice to customer planners on system capabilities, limitations, and employment options
- Developing and maintaining tactical procedures, checklists, planning aids, and quick-reference materials
- Contributing to development and refinement of Concepts of Employment (CONEMP) and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs)
- Supporting training delivery, including preparation of materials and subject matter support during courses
- Providing operational mentoring and tactical coaching to operators during exercises and employment activities
- Planning and executing Anduril's operational contribution to exercises and demonstrations
- Capturing user feedback on system performance, usability, and employment concepts; translating feedback into actionable input for engineering and product teams
- Identifying gaps in procedures, training, or system capability from the operator's perspective and advocating for users within Anduril
- Ensuring operating procedures and training content reflect current employment concepts and real-world operational patterns
- Building and maintaining trusted peer-level relationships with customer operators and planners through persistent presence and demonstrated competence
- Supporting post-exercise debriefs and lessons learned capture, feeding outcomes back into CONEMP, TTPs, and training content
- Contributing operational input to program reporting and customer performance reviews

REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in operational planning, mission analysis, capability development, or a related field such as defence, aviation, mining, or complex logistics
- Demonstrated ability to work at the tactical level—translating system capabilities into practical employment options
- Experience delivering training, instruction, or coaching in a Defence or technical context
- Strong interpersonal skills—able to build trust with military operators and planners as a credible peer
- Comfortable working autonomously in a customer environment with minimal direction
- Ability to translate complex system capabilities into clear operational language that users can act on
- Strong written communication—able to produce tactical procedures, planning aids, and operational reports
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 2 (NV2) security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Military background with operational experience in a maritime environment (submarine, surface warfare, mine countermeasures, or equivalent)
- Experience with autonomous systems, unmanned platforms, or emerging military technology
- Experience in a Defence industry customer-facing role
- Knowledge of undersea warfare and maritime warfare concepts
- Understanding of Defence acquisition processes
- Experience contributing to Concept of Operations (CONOPS), CONEMP, or TTP development
- Experience with operational test and evaluation, exercise planning, or wargaming
