In this Tax Expert role, you will support Kpler's Group Tax function across multiple jurisdictions. Your responsibilities include preparing tax analyses, calculations, and supporting schedules for corporate tax, VAT, withholding tax, and other tax matters. You will prepare and maintain tax projections, forecasts, and tax-related reporting in close collaboration with Finance teams. Key duties include performing tax walkthroughs and reviews to identify risks and inconsistencies, coordinating day-to-day tax compliance activities with external advisors and local Finance teams, and supporting the preparation and review of tax computations and returns. You will also support transfer pricing activities, including calculations and analysis of intercompany transactions, research tax legislation to provide technical analysis on specific questions, and maintain comprehensive tax documentation, trackers, and calendars. Additionally, you will liaise with Finance, Accounting, and external tax advisors on operational tax matters and support tax-related projects by preparing analysis and coordinating workstreams.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of relevant tax experience, ideally from Big 4 / professional services firm or in-house tax function within a multinational business
- Practical experience in corporate tax, including tax computations, tax reviews, tax projections, and financial analysis
- Experience working with Finance teams and/or external tax advisors across multiple jurisdictions
- Good understanding of corporate tax principles with exposure to VAT/GST, withholding tax, and other relevant tax matters
- Exposure to transfer pricing and cross-border transactions, including intercompany arrangements and supporting documentation
- Experience supporting tax compliance and reporting activities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to research tax matters and identify risks
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data and tax-related information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong organization and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proactive and collaborative approach, able to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Taxation, Law, or related discipline
- Relevant professional training or qualifications in taxation, accounting, or finance
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience within international or multinational group, preferably in technology, SaaS, or fast-growing business
- Further exposure to transfer pricing, withholding tax, or VAT in cross-border environment
- Experience supporting tax audits, projects, or process improvement initiatives
- Professional tax or accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CTA, ADIT, or equivalent)
- International tax, transfer pricing, or VAT/indirect tax qualification or training
