You will join as a Talent Acquisition Partner based in Stockholm, reporting to leadership and partnering closely with the CTO and heads of Engineering, Product, and Design. Your mission is to attract and hire exceptional builders—software engineers, security specialists, data and AI engineers, product managers, and designers—who will shape Tandem's technology and product organization as it scales across Europe.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with Tech, Product, and Design leaders to understand hiring needs, define success criteria, and identify exceptional candidates.
- Own end-to-end hiring for tech, product, and design roles—from initial outreach through offer closure.
- Take full ownership of searches: conduct your own sourcing, make judgment calls, and be accountable for outcomes.
- Develop and experiment with creative sourcing strategies to reach world-class, passive, and highly sought-after talent beyond conventional channels.
- Build a thoughtful, inclusive, and seamless candidate experience, including technical interviews, case work, and on-site visits.
- Help shape and scale recruitment processes as the company grows, balancing speed with quality while maintaining an uncompromising hiring bar.
- Use data to maintain healthy hiring funnels, share market insights with hiring managers, and continuously improve processes.
- Strengthen employer brand among technical talent through authentic storytelling about people, product, and mission.
- Bring energy, curiosity, and passion into every interaction as a culture carrier.
The role is based in Tandem's Stockholm headquarters on Kungsgatan and requires primarily in-office presence to collaborate, connect, and build culture.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Talent Partner or Technical Recruiter, ideally in a high-growth, international environment. Years matter less than demonstrated results, responsibility taken on, and speed of growth.
- Track record of hiring engineers, product managers, and/or designers, including senior and specialist profiles.
- Appetite for hard problems and high standards; you hold yourself to an uncomfortable bar and actively seek more responsibility.
- Deep curiosity and creativity in sourcing; you find overlooked talent and know how to start conversations that get replies.
- Sufficient technical fluency to understand engineering, product, and design roles and hold credible conversations with candidates and hiring managers.
- Excitement about talent acquisition enablement tools and AI-driven sourcing innovation.
- Strong stakeholder management skills; you build trust quickly, push back when needed, and communicate with clarity.
- Passion for creating great candidate experience and championing diversity.
- Comfort with ambiguity and change; you thrive in fast-paced, high-velocity environments.
- Bonus: experience hiring for Stockholm's tech/AI scene or competitive talent markets; experience building or improving hiring processes in scale-ups.
