Cognition is an applied AI lab building end-to-end software agents, known for creating Devin, the first AI software engineer. As Talent Operations Coordinator supporting EMEA, you will be the operational backbone of the hiring process, ensuring candidates feel genuinely cared for throughout their interview journey and that hiring never becomes a bottleneck for the business. Key Responsibilities: Talent Coordination for R&D: Run point on scheduling and interview logistics for the EMEA team, managing calendars across time zones and handling last-minute changes. Greet and host candidates onsite, creating a comfortable environment for all. Keep candidates, interviewers, and hiring managers informed with clear, timely updates. Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to flag issues early and adjust plans on the fly. Own ATS data (Ashby) to maintain a clean pipeline. Operational Excellence: Identify and fix inefficiencies in the EMEA hiring process before they become problems. Pull together hiring metrics (pace, time-to-hire, team growth) for leadership. Help organize team events, offsites, and research presentations. Build scalable processes as the team grows. You will work 5 days per week in-person in London, supporting a small, sharp team where your work is genuinely felt. This role offers real partnership with GTM and Talent leadership, the opportunity to scale something from the ground floor, and plenty of room to grow as the EMEA Talent team expands. Requirements: - 2+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, recruiting operations, or talent operations at a fast-paced, technical company - Meticulous attention to detail (e.g., double-checking time zones on calendar invites) - Proactive problem-solver who fixes clunky processes without being asked - Genuine care for candidate experience and interview outcomes - Ability to manage multiple moving pieces simultaneously while staying calm - Reliable follow-through; people trust you to deliver without reminders - Strong interpersonal skills and comfort with diverse people - Ability to maintain confidentiality - Based in London or willing to relocate, with availability for 5 days/week in-office work - Bonus: experience supporting technical or research teams, or familiarity with Ashby ATS
