CAIS is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to lead full-cycle technical recruitment across Engineering, Product, Machine Learning, Data, Corporate Technology, and Security. This is a hands-on individual contributor role—not a strategy-only or team-management position—where you will remain directly involved in sourcing, outreach, interview coordination, scheduling, assessment, and closing throughout the candidate journey.
You will own approved roles from initial intake through accepted offer, partnering with technology and product leaders to translate business requirements into clear role briefs, candidate profiles, sourcing strategies, scorecards, and structured selection processes. You will build and maintain direct talent pipelines for hard-to-find technical talent through proactive sourcing, market mapping, referrals, and long-term relationship development across the UK and US. You will provide leaders with market intelligence on technical talent availability, compensation in each market, competitor activity, and likely hiring constraints.
Key responsibilities include hosting role-alignment meetings with hiring managers and confirmed interview panels before searches move into full delivery; designing effective interview plans and technical assessment methods such as coding exercises, system design, and case-based interviews that support fair, consistent, and evidence-based decisions; delivering practical interviewer training and coaching interview debriefs to help teams distinguish evidence from intuition; and using CAIS's recruiting technology and AI tools effectively while partnering with Recruitment Operations on ATS workflows, automation, reporting, and process monitoring. You will also evaluate emerging recruiting and AI technologies and make evidence-based recommendations on where new tools could improve hiring outcomes or candidate experience.
You will earn influence through the quality of your delivery, the strength of your advice, and your ability to align hiring teams around clear, evidence-based decisions. The role is based in London with at least 2–3 days per week in the Old Street office (N1 7LB), and you will hire across teams in both the United Kingdom and United States.

CAIS provides a broad selection of alternative investment strategies, including hedge funds, private equity, private credit, real estate, digital assets, and structured notes, alongside industry-leading technology, operational efficiency, and world-class client service.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Substantial in-house technical recruiting experience with evidence of delivering complex and business-critical searches
- Experience recruiting in a technology environment such as software, SaaS, or technology-led business; financial services or fintech experience preferred but not essential
- Demonstrated success managing a varied portfolio across different functions and seniority levels simultaneously
- Recruiting experience within one or more of: Engineering, Product, Machine Learning, Data, Corporate Technology, or Security
- Experience hiring across both the UK and US, with working knowledge of each market preferred
- Exceptional direct-sourcing, talent-mapping, and candidate-engagement capability
- Evidence of delivering difficult searches without defaulting to external agencies
- Strong judgement and credibility to advise, influence, and constructively challenge senior leaders
- Strong command of applicant tracking systems, sourcing platforms, recruiting analytics, and candidate-management tools
- Genuine curiosity about AI and emerging recruiting technology, combined with discipline to evaluate tools critically
- Comfort operating as a hands-on individual contributor, including personally managing candidate communication and interview scheduling
