Nutanix is seeking a Systems Reliability Engineer 2 to join its dynamic support team in Pune. This hybrid role (3 days/week in office) focuses on delivering exceptional customer support and ensuring service reliability for enterprise cloud infrastructure customers.
You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across virtualization, networking, and cloud technologies, working directly with customers to drive high satisfaction. Key responsibilities include identifying product defects in collaboration with development teams, analyzing customer data to mitigate risks, and contributing to internal and external knowledge bases. You'll mentor junior team members, foster partnerships with technology partners (VMware, Citrix, Microsoft), and provide rotational support coverage during weekdays and off-hours as needed.
The role requires 3.5+ years of Systems Reliability Engineering experience with strong expertise in virtualization (preferably VMware ESXi), networking (layer 2/3), Linux systems, DevOps, cloud platforms, and enterprise storage. You should have a proven track record of directly resolving complex technical issues with customers, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a customer-driven mindset. An Engineering or Computer Science degree is preferred. Familiarity with VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft technologies is valuable. You'll develop tools, enhance knowledge bases, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
