Salary: USD 150,000 - 220,000 / annual

Applied Intuition is seeking a Systems Engineer to create and manage system requirements for a new Vehicle OS product. This role is critical to shaping the technical direction of a strategically important project at the company. Key responsibilities include: - Monitor and manage full system-level and software-level requirements, ensuring the system meets intended specifications - Create system and software requirements, define system bounds, capabilities, and functional features - Convert customer needs into actionable system requirements and operational objectives - Monitor validation and verification of requirements at system and software levels - Derive features from customer user journeys using Cameo to build and analyze functional and logical architecture - Ensure traceability of system artifacts across user journeys, features, requirements, and test cases - Provide daily guidance to developers on technical implementation to align actual design with intended design - Define processes for ASPICE level 2 compliance - Collaborate with QA to ensure compliance with industry standards - Configure Polarion and Cameo tools for compliance with industry processes - Maintain end-to-end traceability across all tool chains - Define variants management for Vehicle OS products Required qualifications: - 2+ years of systems engineering experience involving requirements, functional decomposition, allocation, analysis, and verification - 2+ years with Model Based Systems Engineering approaches and techniques - Extensive experience with SysML and Cameo in automotive, defense, or aerospace industries - Experience testing real-world systems with sensors and production-level hardware - Experience with requirements validation and verification for subsystems and integrated components Nice-to-have skills include customer-facing experience, experience spanning initial requirements through final validation, knowledge of mechanical/electrical/software engineering, and strong project management abilities.
