Salary: USD 113,068 - 196,100 / annual

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer III - ISR to join its Engineering team developing cutting-edge signals intelligence systems for defense and space applications. This hybrid role, based in Folsom, CA (with flexibility for Dayton, OH), reports to the VP of Engineering and focuses on mission-critical SIGINT capabilities. You will own technical requirements development, architecture, design, integration, and testing of ISR systems. Key responsibilities include performing technical trade studies, developing risk management and mitigation plans for complex systems, and contributing to proposal generation covering technical performance, cost, and schedule. You'll apply systems engineering rigor to requirements development, segmentation, flow-down, verification, and validation across both software and hardware domains. As a technical contributor, you'll guide decisions on digital signal processing, software architecture, systems requirements and design, hardware design and implementation, detailed software design, systems integration, and test. You'll demonstrate domain expertise in signal processing architectures and SIGINT systems, working collaboratively with engineering and software teams on projects. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science; 4+ years of engineering experience with at least 2 years focused on signal collection and signal processing systems; hands-on experience with software-defined radios (SDRs) and SIGINT applications; knowledge of wireless communications systems and protocols (AM, FM, BPSK, QPSK, QAM); experience modeling and simulating signal processing algorithms; familiarity with model-based systems engineering (MBSE); strong understanding of electromagnetic fundamentals related to antennas and receiving systems; proven ability to work independently within a collaborative team. Preferred: Current DoD Top Secret security clearance; experience with SIGINT direction-finding systems and machine learning in embedded/edge environments. Must be able to obtain and maintain US Government clearance. Approximately 10% travel expected for on-site integration and customer meetings.
