Anduril Industries is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Battlespace Awareness Command and Control Software team in Waltham, MA. This role bridges system design, requirements management, modeling and simulation, and verification & validation activities for advanced command and control (C2) products.
You will support the design, development, and validation of sophisticated algorithmic capabilities including tracking, sensor/effector management, battlespace optimization, and threat forecasting. Key responsibilities include:
• Develop and implement modeling and simulation frameworks to validate algorithmic performance and test system capabilities under various scenarios
• Lead requirements decomposition across cross-functional teams, defining success criteria in the face of ambiguity
• Own systems end-to-end, identifying and solving problems across component boundaries
• Develop test plans, acceptance criteria, and analysis tools to evaluate system performance using both simulation and field data
• Perform data-driven analysis to verify customer requirements are met and trace performance as systems evolve
• Integrate emerging capabilities into new products and system configurations
• Ensure deployed systems meet customer requirements through rigorous scoping and performance scrutiny
Required qualifications include 5+ years of hardware and software systems engineering experience with a degree in Engineering, Physics, Robotics, Mathematics, or related field. You must demonstrate proficiency with model-based systems engineering tools (JAMA, Cameo, Matlab, Simulink, AFSIM), Python programming for data analysis and visualization, and strong skills in statistics, AI/ML, requirements management, testing, and MBSE. You should be comfortable communicating complex technical findings to developers, system leads, and customers, and thrive working with ambiguity and evolving priorities. U.S. authorization required.
