OpenAI's Recruiting Operations (RecOps) team is seeking a Systems & Enablement Lead to drive improvements across recruiting processes, systems, and enablement. This role owns the recruiting technology ecosystem, ensuring the ATS, offer workflows, and connected tools are reliable, well-governed, and user-centric.
You will lead projects from discovery through adoption, managing scope, milestones, dependencies, and risks. Key responsibilities include owning enablement for operational workflow changes through documentation, training, office hours, and change communication; supporting offer approval and sensitive recruiting workflows through coordination and exception handling; identifying recurring support themes and driving fixes through process changes, documentation, automation, or handoffs to People Systems; and partnering with recruiters, coordinators, People Systems, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve workflow usability and reliability.
You will use data and operational signals to monitor service health, prioritize improvements, and reduce repeat work. You'll also evaluate practical AI and automation opportunities that improve support quality, speed, and consistency without weakening controls. Success is measured by improvements in recruiting effectiveness, sustained adoption, and clear ownership that enables teams to operate independently and adapt as hiring needs evolve.
