Anduril Industries is seeking a System Engineer to support the development of cutting-edge autonomous airpower systems. You will join a Systems Engineering team responsible for Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Requirements Based Testing artifacts that guide product development, delivery, and sustainment of advanced mission autonomy systems. In this role, you will red-team designs, models, and analyses across programs; build models and simulations to prove or break engineering claims; and work collaboratively with Program Management, Mission Software Engineers, and Operations Analysts. You will communicate complex technical results—including strong visual presentations of data—to engineers, leadership, and stakeholders. Required qualifications include an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance, a B.S. in aerospace, mechanical, computer science, or similar engineering field, and 2+ years of systems engineering experience across the lifecycle. You must have hands-on experience with MODSIM environments (AFSIM, JSE) and understanding of their underlying interfaces and behaviors. Additional requirements include experience with requirements analysis and system design in government contexts, proficiency in writing systems-level requirements, strong aerospace/dynamics/controls/GNC background, and experience with DoD weapon systems or space systems. You should be proficient with SysML, DoDAF, UAFP, and MBSE tools like Cameo MagicDraw (or Rhapsody, SparxEA). Experience developing operational viewpoints, system viewpoints, activity diagrams, use case diagrams, BDDs, IBDs, and parametric diagrams is essential. Outstanding communication skills and ability to present complex data visually are critical. Preferred qualifications include hands-on experience designing and building real engineering systems (not analysis-only), demonstrated ability to identify problems others miss (failure analysis, adversarial review, independent verification), proven track record of independently owning and executing deliverables with minimal management oversight, and proficiency with physics-math scripting (MATLAB, Simulink, Python with numpy/scipy).
