Claravine is The Data Standards Company, helping Fortune 100 brands and agencies standardize taxonomies, naming conventions, and metadata across digital marketing ecosystems. The company serves enterprise marketing and analytics teams at global brands spending $50M+ annually on advertising, solving the critical problem of data quality at the source before it cascades into broken analytics, flawed AI models, and wasted investment.
This SVP of Marketing role is a category-building position, not a traditional demand-gen seat. You will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, sit at the executive table, and own marketing's contribution to pipeline, revenue, and market position. The role combines thought leadership and executive presence with operational rigor across a lean, high-performing team.
Key responsibilities include:
**Category Leadership & Strategic Narrative**: Own Claravine's positioning as The Data Standards Company and expand the category narrative. Serve as the company's voice on keynote stages, in industry publications, analyst briefings, and executive panels. Build competitive positioning that enables Sales and Customer Success to win. Manage relationships with Gartner, Forrester, IDC and other analysts to ensure strong market research positioning.
**Demand Generation & Pipeline**: Own marketing's pipeline contribution with clear attribution and accountability. Design and execute an enterprise ABM program targeting Global 2000 accounts. Drive demand through content, events, digital, partner co-marketing, and direct outreach focused on enterprise ACV conversion. Elevate full-funnel reporting and attribution for board, CRO, and CEO visibility.
**Product Marketing**: Lead messaging, positioning, competitive intelligence, and sales enablement. Translate data standards and taxonomy management into business-value stories for CMO, VP Marketing, and marketing analytics buyers. Develop pricing and packaging recommendations. Build sales enablement libraries that improve win rates and ACV.
**Content & Thought Leadership**: Run a content strategy that builds awareness, trust, and inbound demand across the enterprise buyer journey. Commission authoritative research, benchmarks, and frameworks positioning Claravine as the definitive source on marketing data standards. Build customer advocacy through case studies, references, advisory boards, and executive roundtables.
**Team & Operations**: Build and lead a team of 5–10 across product marketing, demand gen, content, and contractors. Own the marketing budget and P&L with accountability for ROI. Use AI-powered workflows to maximize lean-team output. Set reporting cadence and dashboards that keep marketing visible and trusted by the executive team.
Quarterly travel to Lehi, UT headquarters and customer/conference locations is expected.
