Watershed is an enterprise sustainability platform used by companies like Airbnb, Carlyle Group, FedEx, Visa, and Dr. Martens to manage climate and ESG data, produce audit-ready metrics for voluntary and regulatory reporting (including CSRD), and drive real decarbonization. You will join the Sustainability Data Advisory team in our Mexico City office as a customer-focused, analytically-minded advisor. This is a core role at a growth-stage startup working with the world's top companies to accelerate their sustainability programs. Key responsibilities: - Advise sustainability teams at leading global companies on measuring actionable carbon and non-carbon footprints to reach sustainability goals and enable real reductions. Work directly with customers on scoping new measurements and conducting in-depth methodology comparisons. - Deliver services that accelerate customer success by helping customers set up measurements to meet sustainability goals, serving as a trusted partner in emissions verifications, and providing specialized advisory to optimize their data and methodologies. - Collaborate with science, engineering, and product teams to pioneer innovative measurement solutions and expand Watershed's sustainability intelligence layer. - Lead measurement sessions and deliver advisory services that unlock the full value of the platform, enabling customers to gain clear, reliable insights into their sustainability impact. You will work directly with customers as a trusted advisor in a high-volume environment, ensuring they unlock maximum value from Watershed's platform faster and more effectively than they could on their own. WORKPLACE: This position requires in-person presence in the Mexico City office 4 days per week. REQUIREMENTS: - 4–6 years of experience in consulting, solutions engineering, or other customer-facing roles - Experience in sustainability-related fields, greenhouse gas accounting, and/or ESG reporting - Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences - Quick learner who operates well in ambiguity; organized, systematic, and efficient; thrives in high-volume environments - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable using and speaking to data; meticulous and detail-obsessed - Passion for solving climate change and contributing to a fast-paced startup - Strong English language proficiency
