EcoVadis is the leading provider of business sustainability ratings. The Evaluation Services department produces independent, trusted, and actionable ratings that empower companies to improve their sustainable business practices globally. As a Sustainability Analyst, you will assess and report on the quality and robustness of sustainability management systems for companies worldwide. You will become an expert in applying the EcoVadis methodology, built on rigorous international standards and frameworks such as GRI, ISO 26000, and ESRS. Key responsibilities include: - Assess the adequacy and comprehensiveness of companies' management systems to address material sustainability impacts using EcoVadis methodology - Analyze sustainability management system documentation to extract and synthesize data related to environmental, social, ethics, and supply chain impacts - Review and verify information from automated systems, including document types, dates, and company structures - Audit automated text highlights to correctly identify company-specific sustainability information - Analyze external news and reports to determine their impact on sustainability scores - Align corporate evidence with global sustainability frameworks - Perform quality checks on assessments to ensure adherence with methodology guidelines - Drive personal achievement aligned with departmental performance objectives - Maintain integrity and fairness in scorecard production You will join a robust training program in your first month with a dedicated trainer and support from senior analysts. After training completion, you will work on greater diversity and complexity of companies. You will have opportunities to pivot time toward development projects and collaborate with the international analyst team. Work model: Hybrid (3 days per week for first 3 months, then 2 days per week). Requirements: - 12 months of professional experience (including internship) in a related field - Advanced proficiency in English (reading, writing, oral communication) - Advanced proficiency in Japanese (reading, writing, oral communication); ability to apply internal English guidelines to Japanese documents - Bachelor's degree required; sustainability focus is a plus - Proficiency in Google Workspace applications (Slides, Sheets, etc.) - Strong reading and comprehension skills for interpreting corporate documents (policies, procedures, annual reports, codes of conduct) - Analytical skills, logical reasoning, and sharp attention to detail - Experience with AI collaboration tools and critical thinking for assessing automated inputs is a plus - Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain focus on daily targets - Adaptability to change and eagerness to learn
