SPAN is an AI-native developer intelligence platform helping engineering organizations maximize AI adoption and effectiveness. As a Series A company backed by founders and investors from Slack, Notion, Rippling, and others, SPAN works with forward-thinking organizations like Ramp, Carvana, Intercom, and OpenTable. As a Support Engineer, you will lead complex customer implementations where outcomes matter and solutions require deep technical and strategic thinking. You'll embed with engineering leaders at top-tier organizations to understand their unique challenges, map workflows, and deliver solutions that measurably improve developer productivity and organizational clarity. You'll work at the intersection of product, engineering, and customer success—building full-stack solutions, designing integrations, and ensuring the platform creates real value in production environments. You'll own technical delivery across multiple customer deployments from initial prototype through production scale, writing production-grade code in TypeScript, Python, and data pipelines when needed. A critical part of this role is translating field learnings into product improvements and reusable patterns that benefit the entire customer base. You'll be the internal voice of the customer, influencing roadmap priorities based on real-world deployment insights. Success means owning customer outcomes from first conversation to stable production adoption, balancing speed with quality, technical depth with strategic thinking, and hands-on building with cross-functional leadership. The tech stack includes TypeScript, NestJS, React, Postgres, Redis, Airbyte, Dagster, Python, Kafka, AWS, Kubernetes, and FluxCD.
