Key responsibilities include:
- Manufacturing Partner Ownership: Manage day-to-day operations with assigned manufacturing partners, tracking material readiness, production status, and logistics. Drive resolution when builds are at risk.
- Supplier Management: Directly manage relationships with key component suppliers (SoC, image sensors, memory) and distributors/brokers. Consolidate pull-in requests, hold suppliers to commitments, and drive issues to closure.
- Demand & Supply Planning: Own forecasting and demand/supply planning for assigned products. Identify supply gaps early and mitigate supply risks.
- Data & Financial Operations: Own ERP data integrity for suppliers and products. Verify and process supplier invoices and internal billing in partnership with the AP team.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with Hardware Engineering, Operations, Finance, and external partners (suppliers, warehouses, 3PLs) to keep work moving.
- Global Collaboration: Work closely with US-based teams and global suppliers across time zones, including regular early-morning calls (Taiwan time).
This is a full-time, in-office role requiring 5 days per week on-site in Taipei. You must be independently authorized to work in Taiwan; visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in supply chain planning, material planning, procurement, or supplier management. Hardware or electronics manufacturing experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Finance, or related field.
- Track record of managing external suppliers or manufacturing partners directly. Familiarity with electronic components (SoC, image sensors, memory) is a plus.
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets modeling skills (pivot tables, lookups, large datasets).
- Experience with ERPs, supply chain planning platforms, and warehouse management systems.
- Fluent written and verbal English and Mandarin. Confident managing suppliers and working with US-based teams.
