Lago is hiring a Supply Chain Operations Analyst to own the end-to-end physical flow of inventory from vendors through prep centers into fulfillment. You will be the single point of accountability for routing every purchase order to the optimal prep center, managing all prep-center communication and file handling, working directly with freight brokers, and maintaining tight freight reconciliation.
This is a senior, build-oriented role. You will not just execute workflows—you will design and continuously improve the systems that run them. The core infrastructure already exists; your job is to integrate it, operate it daily, and relentlessly automate manual edges. You will work directly with the founder on the systems side and have real ownership over how this function runs.
Key responsibilities include: building and operating the PO routing logic that directs each purchase order to the best of four nationwide prep centers based on vendor location, cost, speed, and capacity; managing all communication and file uploads with prep centers including shipping plans, packing instructions, and box content files; coordinating inbound shipments from vendors across the country; communicating directly with freight brokers to arrange, track, and troubleshoot shipments; liaising with key suppliers on order logistics and timing; owning and improving freight invoice reconciliation by auditing carrier-billed amounts against quoted rates and flagging discrepancies; and partnering with the founder to connect existing infrastructure into a unified, working routing-and-reconciliation system.
You will adopt an AI-first mindset, continuously looking for ways to automate, streamline, and remove manual steps from every workflow. You will document what you build so it is repeatable and scalable.
Requirements:
- Senior-level supply chain, logistics, or e-commerce operations experience—someone who can design systems and execute them, not just follow a checklist
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with prep centers, 3PLs, freight brokers, or inbound logistics
- 2+ years of experience with Amazon FBA
- Genuinely AI-first: you already use AI tools to work faster and instinctively reach for automation; comfort with ChatGPT/Claude, spreadsheets/Google Sheets, and ideally workflow automation tools (n8n, Zapier, or similar)
- Strong written English and confident, professional communication (B2-C1 proficiency); you will be the voice to prep centers, freight brokers, and suppliers
- Highly organized and detail-obsessed, especially with documentation, file accuracy, and numbers reconciliation
- Self-directed and reliable in an async, remote environment; you take ownership and escalate only what genuinely needs founder judgment
- Process-builder's instinct: when you see something manual or repetitive, your first thought is how to systematize it
Nice to have: Direct Amazon Seller Central/FBA shipment-creation experience; familiarity with multi-channel fulfillment (TikTok Shop, Temu, Shein) or tools like Rithum/ChannelAdvisor; light technical ability (reading/writing simple scripts, working with APIs, building dashboards); experience reconciling carrier/freight invoices at volume.
