Pano AI is hiring a Supply Chain Manager to lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for the components and materials that go into our hardware devices. This role owns the supplier side of the supply chain end to end—identifying and qualifying suppliers, negotiating contracts and pricing, managing cost and lead-time targets, and building risk mitigation and continuity plans that keep the hardware program moving as Pano scales.
You will work closely with Hardware, Engineering, Finance, and Legal to translate current and future manufacturing needs into sourcing strategy, cost models, and supplier relationships that create long-term value. You will be the internal voice on global supply chain conditions, trade compliance, and pricing trends—flagging risks early and advising leadership on how to respond.
Key responsibilities include sourcing and qualifying suppliers for all Pano AI components and device materials; negotiating and establishing vendor contracts including Master Supply Agreements with favorable terms and pricing; managing cost targets, lead times, and materials availability; evaluating supply risk and developing mitigation plans; managing overall supplier relationships to create win-win outcomes; interfacing with cross-functional teams to assess manufacturing requirements; developing cost models for devices and equipment; ensuring compliance with export and import regulations; monitoring supply chain conditions to identify challenges and develop continuity plans; advising management on global supply chain challenges and pricing trends; and leading the "Buy American" compliance program.
You bring 3–5 years of strategic sourcing experience and 6+ years of total professional experience in business, manufacturing, or technology roles. You have experience with contracts and contract management, EMS management, project management skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.
