Blue Bottle Coffee is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join its Hong Kong team. This role is central to the Operations organization, responsible for ensuring product availability, operational efficiency, and continuous process improvement across merchandise and supplies. Key Responsibilities: Vendor & Procurement Management: Identify, qualify, and manage vendor relationships; lead RFQ/RFP processes, commercial evaluations, and contract negotiations to secure competitive pricing, service levels, payment terms, and supply continuity. Hong Kong Local Sourcing: Develop and execute local sourcing strategies for café supplies, ingredients, packaging, equipment, merchandise, and services. Build a qualified local supplier pool through market research, benchmarking, supplier visits, and due diligence, balancing quality, cost, lead time, scalability, and sustainability. Procurement Governance & Supplier Performance: Manage source-to-contract and purchase-to-pay activities in line with company policies; maintain accurate supplier, pricing, and contract records; monitor supplier KPIs and service-level performance; lead corrective actions and cost-saving initiatives. Supply Chain & Logistics Operations: Own end-to-end supply chain management for Blue Bottle Hong Kong's cafés, implementing cost-effective fulfillment strategies; ensure compliance with international import/export regulations and oversee 3PL coordination and domestic execution. Demand & Inventory Planning: Develop item-level demand forecasts across multiple time horizons, products, and channels using sales data, inventory levels, promotional calendars, and analytics; lead inventory strategy and order management to drive cost efficiency. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Development, Marketing, and Finance teams to support new product launches, monthly close activities, café delivery schedule improvements, and sourcing third-party partners for local merchandise or packaged goods development. Continuous Improvement & Risk Management: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and enhance cost efficiency; proactively identify supply chain risks and develop contingency plans. Required Qualifications: - 7+ years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, or Sourcing, ideally within Food & Beverage retail or FMCG sector - Strong communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese (business level) - Proficiency in data analysis - Experience with supply chain digital product optimization - Preferred: Familiarity with local import regulations and food quality control standards - Genuine passion for great coffee, food, and delivering exceptional guest experience
