Dawn Aerospace is a space transportation company developing advanced spaceflight systems including in-space propulsion, in-space servicing, and spaceplane technology. The company operates across the Netherlands, France, New Zealand, and the USA, with over 170 propulsion units already on operational satellites and 200 more in production. As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring materials flow efficiently through the business, working across Suppliers, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Finance teams. You'll manage the complete procurement lifecycle, from raising and managing purchase orders to tracking delivery and maintaining accurate records in ERP/MRP systems. You'll coordinate with suppliers on order status, delivery schedules, and supply risks, while supporting the Engineering and Manufacturing teams to understand material requirements and resolve availability issues that impact production schedules. Key responsibilities include: - Raising and managing purchase orders for materials, components, and services - Following up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and maintaining accurate purchasing records - Tracking incoming and outgoing materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting stock control and serialization - Communicating with suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and issues; identifying and escalating supply risks - Working closely with Engineering and Manufacturing to understand material requirements and maintain accurate serial numbers, revisions, and specifications - Identifying opportunities to improve procurement, inventory, and logistics processes and supporting ERP/MRP data quality improvements This role offers the opportunity to work on hardware destined for flight in one of New Zealand's fastest-growing aerospace companies, learning from experienced engineers and operational leaders in a fast-paced environment. REQUIREMENTS: - 3+ years' experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, inventory control, warehousing, or manufacturing support - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent organisation skills and follow-through - Experience using ERP/MRP systems, or the ability to learn quickly - Strong Excel and data management skills - Ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders - Confidence identifying issues, escalating risks, and driving actions to completion - Understanding of procurement, inventory management, and logistics workflows - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment - Experience in engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, electronics, defence, or other technical industries is advantageous but not essential
