GOAT Group is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations at its Atlanta facility. You will manage a team of associates and service providers, overseeing inbound, inventory verification, outbound, returns, fulfillment, and logistics processes. The role requires strong organizational and analytical skills in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment where operational needs fluctuate daily.
Key responsibilities include:
- Promoting a strong safety culture and healthy work environment
- Leading, managing, and cross-training a diverse team of associates and service providers
- Ensuring best-practice implementation across inbound, inventory, verification, outbound, return, fulfillment, and logistics operations
- Collaborating with multiple departments to resolve delays and operational slippages
- Spearheading continuous improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality
- Conducting cost-benefit analyses to obtain optimal pricing and production methods
- Monitoring expenses and maintaining budget discipline
- Collecting and analyzing data on handling flow and customer experience trends
- Setting a calm, positive, focused leadership tone in a high-pressure environment with frequent changes
- Staying knowledgeable of company goals and executing assigned duties

Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of cumulative supervisory experience, preferably in logistics management, e-commerce, retail, or similar sectors
- Basic understanding of import and export processes
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
- Highly organized with demonstrated attention to detail
- Financial acumen in recording, tracking, and reporting expense control
- Familiarity with warehouse automation technology (conveyor systems, sortation equipment) and ability to leverage it for improved throughput and efficiency
- Strong computer proficiency
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift and move boxes up to 35 pounds
- Availability and willingness to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed to meet business requirements
