Salary: USD 60,000 - 70,000 / annual
Veho is building modern, end-to-end logistics infrastructure for ecommerce. As a Ground Operations Supervisor, you will lead warehouse associates and leads in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. You are responsible for team development, coaching staff on warehouse skills, and setting standards for operational excellence through values-based leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and develop warehouse staff, coaching them on skills necessary for success and preparing them for future growth
- Manage shift scheduling aligned with business needs and operational hours
- Ensure accuracy of reports and cross-functional communication
- Oversee sort and launch package processing while maintaining safety standards
- Assess operational needs quickly and work cross-functionally to orchestrate seamless operations
- Drive continuous improvement with identified milestones
- Lead the team to achieve key KPIs and metrics
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure successful operations
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment requiring quick thinking and physical agility
You will work in a warehouse environment with multiple shifts (first, second, third). Warehouse leadership is expected to be onsite during scheduled shifts, with occasional off-site work at manager discretion. The role demands flexibility for nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of previous management experience in logistics, operations, or related field (preferred)
- Proficient in technology platforms and tools relevant to logistics operations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to team members and driver partners
- Willingness to complete comprehensive background check
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends
- Physical ability to work in warehouse conditions: standing for duration of shift, frequent bending, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds regularly, working in hot/cold temperatures and loud/fume environments
- Minimal travel required
