Legora is an AI-native legal workspace serving 2,100+ customers across 80+ countries, including top-tier law firms and enterprises like Cleary Gottlieb, Goodwin, Linklaters, and Barclays. The company has scaled to $200M+ ARR and operates teams across Europe, North America, and APAC. The Legal Data team is the foundation of Legora's platform, deciding which legal sources (legislation, case law, commentary) users can access and managing partnerships with publishers and institutions worldwide. As Strategy & Operations Manager, you will drive investment decisions for the Legal Data function globally and build the systems and processes that translate strategy into delivery. You'll connect client demand, content usage patterns, and partnership opportunities into clear priorities, then create the operating model that enables the team to scale. Key responsibilities: - Support content prioritization for digital collection by building evidence-based recommendations on which jurisdictions, legal sources, and data types to prioritize, balancing client needs, commercial impact, competitive landscape, and delivery feasibility. - Establish a consistent intake process for source and data requests; combine client conversations, Voice of the Customer insights, partnership opportunities, and usage data into actionable recommendations. - Develop business cases for build (APIs, bulk feeds, scraping), buy, and partner decisions. - Own Legal Data's operating model: planning, reporting, systems, tooling, onboarding processes, playbooks, and cross-functional project coordination across Legal Data, Product, Engineering, Growth, and Legal. - Manage partner operations from signed agreement through live content delivery, including handovers, delivery tracking, contractual requirements, renewals, and reporting obligations. This is an individual-contributor role with broad ownership and global reach, reporting to the Engineering & Product Operations team with a dotted line to the Head of Legal Data. You'll work cross-functionally across the organization. A legal background is not required. REQUIREMENTS: - 3–6 years in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or operations - Highly organized; able to manage multiple workstreams, dependencies, and stakeholders while maintaining detail and outcomes - Strong judgment on when lightweight processes suffice versus when more rigor is needed; ability to escalate appropriately - Structured, commercial thinker who can size markets, build business cases, and convert messy inputs into actionable recommendations for leadership - Analytically strong and fluent with agentic tools; ability to build and maintain systems, trackers, and data - Clear, concise communicator who keeps working teams and senior leadership aligned - Demonstrated experience building practical processes or systems from scratch (not just recommendations) and showing measurable improvements to delivery, visibility, or decision-making - Nice to have: experience in legal, data licensing, content operations, or partnerships
