You will join the Financial Services team as a Strategy & Operations Manager, a high-agency generalist role that bridges product, engineering, data, marketing, sales, and external lending partners. This is an opportunity to help build and scale a growing business unit within Clutch.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Strategic Projects: Lead strategic initiatives across Financial Services from opportunity identification through analysis, execution, and measurement. Identify and execute opportunities to grow the financing and insurance business and expand the customer base. Build business cases, analyses, reports, and recommendations independently to drive decision-making.
Work Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data, Marketing, and Sales to improve product offerings and customer journey. Translate business problems into actionable solutions—whether through data analysis, mockups, or defining new products and processes. Move quickly from problem identification to testing and implementation.
Support Financial Services Strategy: Analyze customer, funnel, and financial performance to identify opportunities and inform strategy. Bring a Financial Services lens to product and business decisions across Clutch. Build and manage relationships with major Canadian lenders and external partners.
Self-Learning & Experimentation: Take initiative to learn new tools and technologies with minimal guidance. Use AI and modern tools to analyze problems, build faster, and improve team operations. Thrive in an environment where many problems lack existing playbooks.

- Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to solve complex business problems
- Proven ability to independently own projects from problem definition through execution
- Strong builder mentality; comfortable rolling up sleeves to create analysis, processes, mockups, or solutions
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to move quickly across different problem types
- Strong cross-functional skills, particularly with Product, Engineering, and Data teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High-agency, curious, and resourceful; takes ownership without waiting to be told what to do
Nice to Have:
- Experience in consumer lending, banking, credit, or fintech
- Management consulting experience within Financial Services
- Experience working on financial products or partnering closely with Product teams
