Verse Medical is a Series C healthtech company (backed by General Catalyst, SignalFire, and Sapphire Ventures) building modern software infrastructure to coordinate care across providers, payors, and patients. The company's mission is to replace fragmented, outdated healthcare systems with reliable, hospital-quality care delivery everywhere.
You will join the Strategy & Operations team as a high-ownership individual contributor reporting to the Head of Strategy & Operations. This is a broad role with both internal and external focus, working closely with leaders across Partnerships, Sales, Customer Success, Operations, and Product.
Your work will span several recurring areas:
• Cross-functional coordination on high-stakes initiatives where multiple teams own pieces of the puzzle (regulatory, compliance, audit-driven work)
• End-to-end program management for complex deployments, including major customer/partner implementations and initiatives requiring sustained partnership with Engineering, Product, and Design
• Quantitative modeling and strategic analysis to underpin major company decisions on resourcing and strategic finance
• Revenue-adjacent strategy and execution, including go-to-market strategy with Sales and leading RFPs and competitive processes
• Incubating new functions from scratch—taking undefined problems and building the team, process, or capability to solve them
The role comes with significant responsibility and rigorous expectations. Workload is not evenly paced; you will flex effort to match demand, surging during crunch periods and settling into sustainable pace afterward.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 4+ years in banking, consulting, startup, or otherwise rigorous role
• First-principles thinking: ability to construct solutions from scratch for work that has fundamentally never been done before
• Quantitative and analytical skills with solid numerical instincts and modeling ability
• Partnerships and sales capability: comfort carrying the baton in external relationships (customer sales, vendor negotiation, partnership launches)
• Implementation and execution bias: not just producing insights and recommendations, but ensuring they come to life through quick action
• Comfort with variable-pace work and ability to surge effort when needed
