Fluidstack is building civilization-scale AI compute infrastructure, acquiring power, designing and operating data centers to deliver 10-100s of GWs of compute faster than competitors. The company is singularly focused on deploying frontier compute infrastructure at speed and scale, with teams spanning hardware and software. The Strategic Transactions Lead will close billion-dollar transactions across leases, colocation deals, EPC contracts, and utility commitments—moving from LOI to signature in weeks. This role owns the entire deal lifecycle from first conversation through site mobilization, with no handoffs or dropped context. Key responsibilities include: quarterbacking complex, multi-party deals across legal, finance, engineering, networking, and construction with 15+ stakeholders and 5+ parallel workstreams; running daily operating rhythms of syncs, decisions, escalations, and tracker updates to keep workstreams aligned; operating with full trust from the CEO and senior leadership, making commitments on Fluidstack's behalf at the strategic level; and handing off signed agreements to delivery and construction teams with zero dropped terms. The ideal candidate has personally closed complex, precedent-setting deals where the playbook didn't exist; negotiated commercial terms against counterparties with misaligned urgency (utilities, EPCs, AHJs, design firms, customers); quarterbacked across legal, finance, engineering, and operations without losing momentum; and demonstrated exceptional ability to distill complex issues into clear decisions and next steps for executives and counterparties. Deal tracking, documentation, and process discipline are habits, not afterthoughts. Bonus experience includes data center capacity deals (colo, powered shell, build-to-suit, wholesale, leases), AI infrastructure constraints, utility and power market dynamics, and EPC/design-firm contract structures. Fluidstack operates on extreme ownership, full autonomy, velocity, first-principles thinking, and a deep love of the frontier AI problem space. The company hires people who care deeply about expanding human freedom through aligned AI.
