Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, seeks a Strategic Supply Chain & Industrial Base Operations professional to architect and govern defense priority rating frameworks (DPAS) and supply chain resilience across the enterprise. This is a strategic and operational role bridging high-level defense policy with tactical execution.
You will serve as the enterprise operational authority ensuring defense priority requirements integrate seamlessly into procurement, ERP/MRP workflows, supplier contracts, and program delivery schedules. Key responsibilities include:
• Leading defense priority governance and strategy, partnering across Supply Chain, Procurement, Contracts, Program Management, Legal, and Government Relations to drive execution and close supply vulnerabilities.
• Identifying critical commodities and supply chain bottlenecks where priority ratings mitigate material risk, leading cross-functional initiatives to secure and apply these ratings.
• Building and scaling a centralized data repository capturing strategic commodities, program allocations, rating statuses, purchase orders, supplier flow-downs, risks, and corrective actions.
• Partnering with procurement teams to ensure priority ratings and flow-down requirements are accurately reflected on purchase orders and supplier commitments.
• Collaborating with Business Systems, IT, and Operations to embed priority rating logic into ERP, MRP, P2P, Contract Lifecycle Management, and business intelligence dashboards.
• Delivering high-visibility reporting and operational briefings to senior leadership on rating coverage, process deficiencies, material exposure, and strategic decisions.
• Serving as strategic advisor to executive leadership on annual supply priorities, defense industrial base posture, and continuous-improvement roadmaps.
• Translating complex defense regulations, statutory mandates, and industrial base policies into actionable business processes, SOPs, RACI matrices, and training programs.
Required: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or related field; 5+ years consulting with government agencies, defense technology companies, or advisory firms supporting the defense industrial base; deep understanding of DPAS, defense acquisition workflows, FAR/DFARS clauses, and supplier controls; hands-on experience deploying defense priority requirements in ERP/MRP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle); ability to move between strategic vision and granular execution; proven cross-functional collaboration; willingness to travel 25-50% domestically and internationally; ability to relocate to Costa Mesa if not local.
