As Strategic Projects Lead for Managed Services, you will own the end-to-end delivery of complex AI projects for Prolific's most important clients. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, translating their evolving requirements into clear project scopes, delivery plans, and practical solutions. Your responsibilities include:
• Own end-to-end delivery of complex AI projects from requirements gathering through execution and completion
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle
• Work with clients to translate complex or ambiguous requirements into executable plans with defined success criteria
• Partner with Sales, Operations, Product, and Engineering teams to coordinate resources and solve delivery challenges
• Identify risks and issues early, working directly to keep projects on track
• Track and own key delivery metrics including quality, timelines, budgets, and profitability
• Develop and improve processes, tools, and ways of working to scale AI project delivery as the client base grows
This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving environment where you'll need to be comfortable working through ambiguity, getting into detail when needed, and making sound decisions to maintain delivery momentum. You'll combine strong client management with a solid understanding of AI workflows and human data collection, annotation, evaluation, and validation processes.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 3–6+ years of experience managing complex client projects or programmes, ideally in AI/ML, human data, data services, or other technical environments
• Solid understanding of AI technologies and the AI/ML development lifecycle, including familiarity with data collection, annotation, evaluation, or validation
• Strong client-facing skills with experience building trusted relationships and communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proven ability to translate complex or ambiguous client requirements into clear, executable plans and successful outcomes
• Hands-on approach to delivery and problem-solving with ability to identify issues and drive solutions forward
• Strong analytical and commercial judgment with experience managing project KPIs, budgets, profitability, quality, and delivery performance
• Proven ability to lead across teams, align different stakeholders, and operate effectively in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities
