As Strategic Projects Lead, you will own multiple long-term healthcare projects that drive business forward and directly impact customer experience. You will focus on Metriport's role in the broader healthcare interoperability landscape, navigating legal, technical, and compliance frameworks that define US health data exchange. You will be a highly collaborative individual contributor identifying internal needs solvable through partnerships, executing ruthlessly on strategic efforts while ensuring high-level alignment and coordination. Key responsibilities include: - Leading end-to-end execution of internal and external projects requiring attention to detail and consideration of national and state requirements - Ruthlessly prioritizing to identify the most important focus areas and ensure alignment with company needs - Building consensus across stakeholders, understanding their incentives, and positioning Metriport to accomplish goals within constraints - Thinking ahead to identify future blockers before they become problematic - Solving hard problems with many constraints using sound judgment and data-informed narratives - Translating product knowledge (technical and non-technical) into project requirements and considerations The company culture emphasizes entrepreneurial mindset, ownership, and autonomy. Leaders work in-office six days a week; the team is generally expected to be available six days a week, though the company trusts team members to take needed time off. REQUIREMENTS: - 3+ years of project management, business operations, or MBB consulting experience - 3+ years of building partnerships with external parties from scratch - 3+ years of experience within healthcare interoperability - Exceptional organizational skills; ability to turn chaos into concise clarity and keep stakeholders on schedule - Familiarity with regulated industries and projects with significant governance requirements - Comfort taking ambiguous objectives, breaking them down for alignment, identifying efficient execution paths, and executing independently - Peripheral knowledge of finance, data, compliance, and engineering sufficient to ask thoughtful questions and loop in appropriate stakeholders - Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate to work from South Beach office - Low ego, high ownership mindset; comfort challenging timelines and pushing for efficiency
